Mizoram Civil Services Nine probationers visit Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School

Silchar: In keeping with the customs, nine probationers of the Mizoram Civil Services (MCS) visited the globally renowned military establishment, the Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare (CIJW) School, Vairengte, Mizoram, from January 14 to January 16.

The probationers interacted with Major General M K Mago, YSM, SM, Commandant and other Instructors of the CIJW School. They were given exposure to various training activities like firing, field exercises and visited various institutions of CIJW School to include Information and Research Centre, Innovation Hall, Motivation Hall, IED Hall and Simulator Room.

The visit culminated with the MCS probationers giving a talk on the role and functioning of the civil administration. The MCS probationers from Administrative Training Institute, Aizawl, while displaying great enthusiasm, actively participated in the interaction and were inspired by the ethos and traditions of the Indian Army. They appreciated the professionalism of instructors and staff in the premier school for sub conventional operations, located in Mizoram.
