MoU Signed Between NETC And Cachar District Administration

Silchar: An agreement was signed between North East Transmission Company Limited (NETC) and district administration of Cachar at a MoU agreement signing ceremony held in the chamber of the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, Laya Madduri in Silchar on Thursday. NETC will look after repair works of schools and toilets under their CSR (corporate social responsibility). Under their CSR proposal for NETC, Secondary Education Department, Cachar, 5 schools have been selected which include Digor Srikona High School, Chibita Bichia High School, Phulbari Public High School, Tarinipur High School and Ambikacharan High School.

Toilet block, building and repair works, water supply and electricity will be looked after this CSR scheme. Besides the presence of representatives of NETC, MLAs Amar Chand Jain and Kishore Nath were also present. Laya Madduri said it is a noble initiative which will provide scope and opportunity for development, construction and repair works for the larger interest of the people. Around 50 lakh will be spent on the repair works of 5 schools and construction of 3 toilets in 2 schools.
