One arrested with pistol by 37 Assam Rifles, Silchar

Silchar: Jianthaongami Dangmei (28) of village Kambiron in Nungba police station in Nona Manipur district has been arrested by 37 Assam Rifles at Pailapool at 6.45 pm recently.

He has been handed over to Lakhipur police where he has been kept in remand. Anwar Hussain Choudhury, officer-in-charge, S Hanse, of the police station have been interrogation him. One pistol with ammunition and a mobile set have been recovered from his possession.
