Pabindra Kumar Nath Takes Over as Hailakandi Superintendent of Police

Hailakandi: Pabindra Kumar Nath, a 1996 batch APS officer, took over as the new police head of Hailakandi district. He took over charge from Mohneesh Mishra.

Prior to his new place of posting, Pabindra Kumar Nath worked in different capacities as SDPO, Margherita Subdivision, Additional SP, Karbi Anglong district (border), Additional SP (headquarters), Sonitpur district and Additional SP (border), Karimganj district. He also worked as Assistant Inspector of Police, Guwahati, SP, State CID, Deputy Commissioner of Police (administration), Guwahati and Marshal of Assam Legislative Assembly.

Listing out his priorities, Nath said he would like to build an interface between the police and public and to create public trust and confidence on the police. Nath sought the support and cooperation of all sections of the people in maintaining law and order in the district. Nath has been conferred with the president’s police medal which he will receive in New Delhi on August 15.
