Process on for constitution of Gaon Panchayats, Anchalik Panchayats in Hailakandi

Hailakandi: Process is underway for constitution of the 62 Gaon Panchayats and Anchalik Panchayats under five development blocks across the district.

Deputy Commissioner, Keerthi Jalli has issued a notification to this effect. Jalli has asked the Superintendent of Police to provide necessary security at the venues where the constitution of GPs and APs will take place.

The Deputy Commissioner has authorised officials Rebecca L.Changsan, Jyotirmoy Daimary, James Aind, Arpita Dutta Mazumder and Saleh Ahmed Choudhury against Hailakandi, Lala, Katlicherra, Algapur and South Hailakandi development blocks respectively.
