Rally on 'save the girl child' held in Silchar

SILCHAR: It is the effort to make her safe and a noble venture to spread the awareness. As a lady president of Rotary Club of Green Land Silchar, Madhumita Paul along with her team initiated the endeavour of taking out a rally with the enthusiasm.

In this regard, a rally was taken out with a message which read Save Girl Child. All women participated in the rally to spread the awareness signage message regarding the concept. The rally was flagged off by Santanu Das, traffic in-charge of Silchar Town.

Madhumita Paul elaborated about the purpose of the rally and women empowerment in Rotary Club. The rally began from DSA stadium and ended at NIT point. Rotaractors from Women's College and Gurucharan College and Assam University took an active part in making this endeavour successful.
