Section 144 CrPC clamped in firing range: Hailakandi

Hailakandi: Section 144 CrPC will be in force at the firing range of 21st AP (IR) Battalion headquarters at Katlicherra from November 25 onwards.

The district administration has decided to clamp Section 144 within a radius of 500 metre of the firing range as a preventive measure to ensure that no person enters during the firing practice by personnel of the battalion.

An order issued by Hailakandi Additional District Magistrate Amalendu Roy on Monday promulgates Section 144 with effect from November 25 to December 25 from 6 am to 4 pm.
