Squads, teams formed to prevent malpractices during election campaign in Cachar

Silchar: Concrete measures and steps are being taken to ensure fair practices during the run up to the forthcoming Lok Sabha election. The district administration of Cachar has formed flying squads and static surveillance team in a bid to ensure that no malpractices occur during the period. It is pertinent to mention here that at this point of time various candidates engage in unscrupulous practices by employing their party workers in distributing alcohol and money for using as bribe for voters. The squad and the team have been formed so as to keep a vigil on such activities. Videographers will be there with the teams so that they can record any such illegal and unlawful act.
