Training For Housing Census Operations 2021 Gets Underway

Hailakandi: A three-day training of enumerators and supervisors for houselisting and housing census operations 2021 (pre test) got underway in Hailakandi district. Conducted by the Directorate of Census Operations, Assam, the training of 8 supervisors and 45 enumerators began at the District Agriculture Office here on Tuesday.
Altogether 13 villages will be covered in the district. They are Bhatirkupa II, Narainpur I, Lakhirbond, Chandpur, Gangpar-Dhumkar III, Gangpar-Dhumkar IV, Thupkana, Rangauti Pt I, Rangauti Pt.II, Bilpar Dhumkar, Bahadurpur II, Matijuri and Bashdahar II. The inaugural session was attended, among others, by Deputy Register General of India, Bharati Chanda, Assistant Director, Census Operations, Assam, Arun Munda.
