Silchar: Job mela for the job seekers was organised at ITI Srikona near Silchar for the first time by the Directorate of Employment and Craftsman Training in coordination with National Career Service on Saturday which attracted a good number of youths, boys and girls, from across the Valley of Barak. There is no scope for self-employment as well. This is synonym to brain-drain. This has to stop.” She is however hopeful with the platform created by the Directorate of Employment, a new horizon will definitely be ushered in.
