

GUWAHATI: The FICCI FLO Northeast Chapter has formally inducted its new leadership team for the 2025-26 term at a recent Change of Guard ceremony held at Hotel Vivanta, Guwahati. This was followed by a national meeting at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi, which marked a major milestone.
Rashmi Manchanda has been elected as the Chairperson for the coming year. She is a dynamic leader with a long business, social initiative, and women's empowerment background. With her vision and passion, she will further strengthen the chapter's mission of encouraging growth and self-sufficiency among women of this region.
Apart from Rashmi Manchanda, the core team comprises of Pronita Baruva as Senior Vice Chairperson, Bela Nawka as Vice Chairperson, Latika Jhunjhunwala as Secretary, Manashree Prakash as Joint Secretary, Neha Khandelwal as Treasurer, and Geetanjali Kakati as Joint Treasurer.
Under Manchanda's leadership, the FICCI FLO Northeast Chapter aims to continue pushing for women's education, entrepreneurship, safety, health, skill development and financial independence. The new team is committed to rolling out significant initiatives that help empower women from all walks of life.
The chapter also thanked Joyshree Das Verma, the outgoing national President, for her outstanding leadership in the past year, which has greatly strengthened the FLO network and encouraged women to take control of their own futures. The chapter looks to take this new journey forward with the strong foundation built by its predecessors, creating significant change in the region.
