LBSNAA trainee officers visit Assam Rifles' Lunglei battalion

AIZAWL: Six trainee civil services officers of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) visited the Lunglei battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), for Field Study and Research Programme (FSRP).

During the visit, trainee officers were oriented towards the contribution of Assam Rifles in maintaining peace and harmony in the North East. They were also briefed on the role of Assam Rifles including history, organization and capabilities. A brief intro was also given on the routine of the Armed Forces and working methodology. The same would prove to be useful while they discharge their administrative duties in the future, a press release said.
