34th All India Postal Weightlifting Meet In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The 34th All India Postal Weightlifting, Power Lifting and Best Physique Championship will get underway at the Bhogeswari Phukanani Indoor Stadium tomorrow.

Addressing a media gathering Som Kamei, the Post master General, Assam Circle, said that around 200 participants from 16 Postal Circles will take part in the Championship which will be concluded February 8. The media briefing was also attended by the Director, Postal Service, Assam Circle (Head Quarters) K Kebichusa.

Assam squad for the meet: Yadav Phukan (Weightlifting), Ratul Barua (Weightlifting and Powerlifting), Dipankar Moran (Captain, Powerlifting) and Nipananda Hazarika (Best Physique).
