7th National Gatka Championship meet to be held in Guwahati

Around 1200 players from 28 states will participate in the meet. Teams for the 37th National Games, scheduled to be held in Goa, will be selected from this competition.

GUWAHATI: Gatka Association of Assam will organize 7th National Gatka Championship, a form of martial arts, at the Nabin Chandra Bordoloi Indoor Stadium here from August 4. Around 1200 players from 28 states will participate in the meet. Teams for the 37th National Games, scheduled to be held in Goa, will be selected from this competition.
