AAFC to work with Assam Olympic Association

GUWAHATI: Newly formed Association of Assam Football Coaches (AAFC) has decided to work with the Assam Olympic Association (AOA) jointly to promote soccer across the State.

In a letter to the Assam Olympic Association, the parent body of sports in the State, the secretary of the Association of Assam Football Coaches Mantu Baro said, "We are very much aware about the probable challenges to make our association functional and valuable in true sense. So we will always looking for kind cooperation and coordination from Assam Olympic Association."

The letter also expressed hope that Assam Olympic Association will consider them as their part to work together towards taking the State football to next height.

It may be mentioned here that the Association of Assam Football Coaches was formed recently to work for the development of football in the State. The association has targeted to produce quality coaches by arranging workshop, clinics, and camps during the different parts of year. In this regard the association will also take the help of the Assam Football Association.
