AG Assam win in Indian Audit and Accounts Department Cricket

GUWAHATI: AG Assam defeated AG Tripura by 71 runs in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department Cricket meet held at the ACA stadium, Barsapara here today. Invited to bat, Assam scored 234-2 in their 30 overs. Opener Manash Jyoti Gogoi scored 96 and his opening partner contributed 46 runs. Rishav Das, the inform batsman, also played a nice inning and remained not out on 79. Later Tripura managed to score 163 in their 30 overs losing three wickets.

In the other match at the Judges ground, Bihar registered 42 runs victory against Jharkhand. Earlier the opening ceremony of the Tournament was held at Judges Field where K.S Gopinath Narayan, Accountant General (Audit) was the Chief Guest. Naba Konwar, former Ranji Cricketer and Member in the Apex Council of Assam Cricket Association, was the Guest of Honour.
