All India Football Federation extended deadline for AIFF Academy Accreditation

GUWAHATI: All India Football Federation today extended the deadline for AIFF Academy Accreditation by a month. The last date for submission of form and fees is now fixed on August 15.

Earlier the academies were instructed to submit their accreditation form on July 15. But after closely monitoring the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic the All India Football Federation has decided to extend the deadline by a month.

It may be mentioned that there are many areas in the country which is still under complete lockdown.

Last time 83 football academies across the country, including Numaligarh Refinary Limited Football Academy at Numaligarh, registered with the All India Football Federation. Among them Reliance Foundation Young Champs received the five stars category. On the other hand three academies achieved four stars and these were Bengaluru Football club, Jamshedpur FC and Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools. Numaligarh Refinary Limited Football Academy was in two stars category.
