Archer Arjun Jayanta Talukdar's father passes away

GUWAHATI: Archer Arjun Jayanta Talukdar's father Ranjan Talukdar died in the city after a brief illness. He was 75 and left behind wife, 4 sons and 2 daughters. Talukdar, a social worker resided at Bagharbari locality in the city, was admitted in a city nursing home a couple of days back after he suffered an internal brain hemorrhage.

Jayanta Talukdar, who was with the Indian team to participate in the World Cup Stage 1 Archery in Turkey, returned home yesterday and was beside Talukdar at the time of his death.
