Assam Dimpy Dutta wins silver in Khelo India University Games at Bengaluru

GUWAHATI: Another weightlifter from Assam Dimpy Dutta won a medal in the Khelo India University Games held at Bengaluru today. Dimpy, hails from Sivasagar, participated in the Games for Chandigarh University and collected a silver medal in 87 kg weight category. She lifted 79kg in snatch and 100kg in clean and jerk. Earlier yesterday Ditimoni Sonowal of Dhemaji won a Silver Medal in 64kg Category participating for Chandigarh University.
