Assam Handball Association (AHA) plans good preparation for team

GUWAHATI: Assam Handball Association will arrange one month camp in three phases to prepare its team for the forthcoming 23rd National East Zone Handball Championship. The competition would be held in Guwahati from December 18. Talking to the media persons the president of the National East Zone Handball Championship Manoj Saikia said, “The first phase of the camp would be held at Golaghat and it would be followed by two more camps at Tezpur and Guwahati respectively.”
Meanwhile, 10 states already confirmed to take part in the competition and they are Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Manipur, Meghalaya Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura and host Assam. The total budget of the meet is around 25 lakh. The media briefing was also attended by the secretary of the organizing committee Amal Narayan Patowary and Vice President of the Assam Handball Association Arunjyoti Maran.
