Assam lose to Tripura by 27 runs in U-23 One Day Cricket at Chennai

GUWAHATI: Assam lost to Tripura by 27 runs in the U-23 One Day Cricket in Chennai today. Tripura, elected to bat, scored 139-8 in their 50 overs. S Chakraborty (40) was the top scorer while Mousumi Narah and Kakoli Saikia picked up three wickets each. Later Assam bowed out 112 runs in 48.4 overs. Opener Ruhina Pegu (32) was the major contributor. Mampi Debnath and Puja Das collected three wickets each.
