GUWAHATI: Assam came out with flying colour in the 20th Sub-Junior National (Boys & Girls) Wushu Championship which concluded at Thakur Vishwanath Sahdeo Indoor Stadium Mega Sports Complex, Hotwar, Ranchi yesterday. Assam won 28 medals including 6 Gold, 9 Silver and 13 Bronze in the championship and bagged 2nd Runners up Trophy in Taolu category as well as in over all category. Among the 28 medals six are gold and these were collected by Ayan Dutta Traditional Short Weapon), Arhaan Borooah (Bare hand), Deeksha Tewari (2 gold in Nandao and in Nangun), Shyamali Deka (Baguazhang) and Amey Doley (Sanda, free fighting, below 56 kg).
