Assam suffer big loss against Saurashtra in Cooch Behar trophy match

GUWAHATI: Assam suffered huge 116 runs defeat against Saurashtra in the Cooch Behar trophy match at Bokakhat today. Visitors get six points from the match. In reply to Saurashtra’s first innings total 176 Assam were bowled out 89 runs in the first innings yesterday. The bowlers of Assam today once again made good job and restricted the visitors second innings to 177. Dasarath Kumar bagged 3-47 while Amlanjyoti Das and Bishal Roy picked up two wickets each. In the second innings Assam managed to score 148 runs. Akash Sengupta (42), Denish Das (32) and Bishal Roy (27) contributed well with the bat.
