Assam Thrash Arunachal Pradesh In Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket Tournament

GUWAHATI: Assam thrashed minnow Arunachal Pradesh by 9 wickets in their last group league match in Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket Tournament at Cuttack today. Pacer Mukhtar Hussain (4-14) played a big role to give Assam a huge victory in the tie. Elected to bat Arunachal Pradesh were bowled out paltry 102 runs in 18 overs. Mukhtar bowled nicely in the tie and picked up 4-14 in his three overs spell. Later Assam chased the target in just 40 balls losing the wicket of opener Rishav Das (39). Other opener Pallav Kumar Das and Rajjakuddin remained not out on 34 and 30 runs respectively.
