GUWAHATI: Assam thrashed Nagaland by 9 wickets at the Mens U-25 state 'A' trophy at Amingaon today. Chasing 83 runs to win Assam scored 86-1 in just 10.4 overs. Bishal Roy scored unbeaten 54 and opener Subham Mandal remained not out on 19. Earlier Riyan Parag and Roshan Alam took three wickets each to restrict Nagaland paltry 82. Only two batsmen of the side scored double-digit runs. At the ACA stadium, Barsapara Manipur beat Mizoram by 62 runs. Manipur's bowler Kishan picked up five wickets and Sahil Reza (40) of Mizoram was the lone batsman who scored double-figure runs. Meanwhile at the Nehru Stadium Arunachal Pradesh registered 58 runs victory over Meghalaya. Licha Jhon(58) of the winning team scored a half century.
