Ranji Trophy: Assam to face Tamil Nadu from today

GUWAHATI: Assam will take on Tamil Nadu in their next Ranji Trophy match from Tuesday. The game will be held in Chennai. Assam, played five games in the competition this season, collected 11 points and are placed at the fifth place in the Elite group 'B' points table. Among the five games Assam won one, lost one and remaining three ended as a draw. Tamil Nadu are at the sixth place with 8 points after the end of the fifth round. Tamil Nadu yet to register a victory this season as they lost one match and the remaining four ended as a draw.
