Assam win 34 medals in North East India Level Kickboxing Championship

GUWAHATI: Assam won 34 medals including 10 Gold in the 4th Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior and Senior North East India Level Kickboxing Championship 2018-19 which was held at U Tirot Singh

Stadium, Lachaumiere, Shillong on September 7 to 9 as a warm up meet to the forthcoming 32nd National Level North East Sports Competition where more than 219 players and 26 officials from five states participated both boys and girls in the agegroup of under 24,19,17,14,11 and 9 years in the three day meet in the Kick Light, Light Contact, Point Fighting and Full Contact events as per weight categories of WAKO Kickboxing. The championship was hosted by Meghalaya Association of Kickboxing Organisations (MAKO) in collaboration with North East Association of Kickboxing Organisations (NEAKO) and supported by National Kickboxing Federation Non Govt. WAKO India.
