Assam women cricketers Uma Chetry, Jintimoni Kalita in India ‘A’ team

GUWAHATI: Two Assam women cricketers- Wicketkeeper batter Uma Chetry and all-rounder Jintimani Kalita have been selected in the India A team for the forthcoming series against England. Uma was the part of the senior Indian women’s team that won a gold medal in the Asian Games whereas Jintimani has been an integral part of the Mumbai Indians’ women’s set-up.
