Assam XI Defeats Surjo Tarun Club By 57 Runs At ACA Stadium

GUWAHATI: Assam XI defeated Surjo Tarun club by 57 runs (VJD method) in the rain hits limited-overs game held at the ACA stadium, Barsapara here today. Invited to bat, Assam XI scored 179-7 in 43.3 overs. Amit Sinha was the top scorer with 53 runs. Gokul Sarma and Riyan Parag scored 35 and 31 runs respectively. Kamran Haq Hafiz (3-37) was the most successful bowler for the visitors. In reply Surjo Tarun Club bowled out 128 runs in 35.3 overs. Mohai Minul khan (43) and Dilwar Hussain (38no) were the top performers with bat. Among the bowlers of Assam XI Arup Das (2/23) and Ranjeet Mali (2/21) bagged two wickets each.
