Assam’s MMA Bhabajeet Choudhury to Fight against England’s Hudson

Pathsala: Assam’s Mixed Martial Artist (MMA), Bhabajeet Choudhury of Bajali has signed a contract with one of Asia’s biggest fighting promotions- Brave Combat Federation. Bhabajeet will compete with England’s Martin Hudson in his upcoming bout under the promotion at Hyderabad on November 23. He competes in the Welterweight category (77 kg) and is also the team captain of Gujarat in the Super Fight League.

He has a professional MMA record of 8 wins and 3 losses and is one of the most successful fighters from the Northeast. He goes by the nickname, ‘Stretcher’, as after his fights his opponents often leave on a stretcher. Bhabajeet hails from Patacharkuchi of Bajali subdivision under Barpeta district and son of Digambar Choudhury and Devi Rani Choudhury. He has learned and expertise in Kung-fu, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wushu & Mixed Martial Art (MMA).
