Big win for Assam in Cooch Behar Trophy at Tirupur

GUWAHATI: Assam defeated Tamil Nadu by 6 wickets in the Cooch Behar Trophy match which concluded at Tirupur today. Assam needed 51 runs to win the tie and they reached the target by losing four wickets. Highlight of the game was fine bowling from Bibhakar Nag (ten wickets), Dasarath Kumar (7 wickets) and a century from Denish Das (109) in the first innings. With this victory Assam collected six points.
