Big win for Assam in their opening game in the BC Roy Junior Football Championship

GUWAHATI: Assam thrashed Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu 8-0 in their opening game in the BC Roy Junior Football Championship at Jabalpur on Monday. The match was totally dominated by Assam and took 6-0 lead before the lemon break. Assam today opened account in the very first minute of the game through Ashish Chetry. He also scored another goal in the 29th minute. Roshan Pitara, Rosan Dungdung, Kongkon Dev Bordoloi, Ringkhang Baro, Thomas Amchi and Bhaskar Phukan were the other scorers.
