GUWAHATI: Dilip Thakur’s brilliant spell and brilliance of the batsmen help SG Club to register their first victory in the inaugural Assam Premier Club Championship by thrashing Santipur Athletic Club by 203 runs at Judges’ Field today. After winning the toss SG openers Suraj Kumar Thakur and Sanjeet Basfore put on 108 runs in 12 overs. Sanjeet was first to go after scoring 44 in 31 balls with 4 sixes. Suraj made 61 in 45 balls with 7 fours and 4 sixes. Later Azaharuddin Ahmed (48) and Kishor Basfore (40) helped SG to manage 257 runs in 37.3 overs. Ikram Yasin Ali claimed 3 wickets for 47 runs.

Santipur AC were bundled out for just 54 in 16.2 overs. Dilip grabbed 5 wickets for 6 runs in 4.2 overs. Bishnu Bahadur took 3 wickets for 12.

From Dibrugarh: Continuing good form CCD showed another clinical performance here today and outplayed Ankuran Club by record margin of 297 runs. Batting first, four of top five CCD batsmen scored half century, put on 314 runs in 40 overs losing 4 wickets and then bundled out Ankuran at just 17, lowest score of APCC till date. Kalyan Gogoi hit unbeaten 86 off 43 balls with 8 fours and 5 sixes. Manab Jyoti Barman (51), Abhijit Sonar (53) and Jyotiraditya Chetia (65) were the other half century makers. Pacer Gunjan Jyoti Deka claimed 6 wickets for 9 in 3.5 overs for CCD. Eight batsmen of Ankuran could not open their account.

From Bongaigaon: Barpara Nabajeuti Club beat Basugaon Cricket Academy by 160 runs. Pranab Chakraborty took 6 wickets for the losing side. Brief Score: Barpara Nabajeuti Club 227/10 in 35.4 overs (Manish Das 57, Bikram Biswas 51, Pranab Chakraborty 6/40) beat Basugaon CA 68/10 in 15.2 overs (Bikram Biswas 5/32, Manish Das 4/34).

From Charaideo: Arunudoi Sangha Parbotpur beat Napuk Sarathi Yuva Sangha by 3 wickets in a 35 over match. Brief Score: Napuk Sarathi 107/10 in 27 overs (Siddartha Singh 4/16, Rituparna Hazarika 3/19) lost to Arunodoi Sangha 108/7 in 26.4 overs (Mithilesh Kumar Sah 34, Jitul Pangging 2/13).

From Dhubri: JSS Gauripur beat DCCC Dhubri by 68 runs. Brief Score: JSS Gauripur139/10 in 34.5 overs (Amitav Mazumdar 35, Bishal Thapa 3/12, Mahin Choudhury 3/17) beat DCCC 71/10 in 24.4 overs (Amitav Mazumdar 4/14, Sofiul Karim 3/11).

From Bokakhat: Shantipur Cricket Club registered a narrow 2-wicket win over Bholaguri Lachit Club. Brief Score: Bholaguri Lachit Club 197/9 in 40 overs (Mriganka Bora 39no, Subhashish Phukan 38, Dimpu Raj Thakur 36, Sanjoy Biswas 3/33) lost to Shantipur CC 198/8 in 38.1 overs (Sanjoy Biswas 39, Dipankar Gogoi 4/49).

From Tezpur: Dhekiajuli CC prevailed over Kamarchuburi CC by 2 wickets. Brief Score : Kamarchuburi CC 119/10 in 33.4 over (Musaddique Hussain 42, Suman Boro 3/37) lost to Dhekiajuli CC 122/8 in 38.3 overs (Ronak Patni 37, Akash Choudhury 3/12).

From Titabor: Bibijan Cricket Club registered win over Hit Star Cricket Club by 19 runs. Brief Score: Bibijan CC 165/10 in 22 overs (Sanjay Payang 35, Mridul Dutta 36, Kadir Ali 4/36, Amar Mahato 3/21) beat Hit Star CC 146/7 in 22 overs (Aman Gupta 40no, Abdul Wahab Khan 36, Abidur Rahman 3/19).

From Barpeta: Bikiran Das delivered a sensational spell here today as Shiva Shankar Club outplayed Ambikagiri Sangha by 6 wickets in a low scoring match. Bikiran took 5 wickets in his 11- ball spell to restrict the opponent at 67 in 14.5 overs. Brief Score: Ambikagiri Sangha 67/10 in 14.5 overs (Bikiran Das 5/3) lost to Shiva Shankar Club 69/4 in 13.3 overs (Mehdi Hasan 3/25).

From Nalbari: Unique Sports Club beat North Nalbari Sports Club by 5 wicket. Brief Score: North Nalbari SC 142/10 in 34.2 overs (Tabibar Rahman 3/34) lost to Unique SC 143/5 in 29.1 overs (Zahir Hussain 53no).

Startlit Club got walk over against Pathsala Cricket Club in Bajali while match between D&B Club and Rongmon was abandoned due to rain after first innings.
