GUWAHATI: The Indian Olympic Association constituted the new committee of its North East chapter. Birendra Prasad Baishya, the MP and the president of the Indian Weightlifting Federation, was named as the chairman of the committee. The other members included in the committee are SM Bali, Bhupinder Bajwa, Swapan Banerjee, Bholanath Singh and top officials including the president, secretary-general, senior VP and treasurer of all the State Olympic Associations of NE.
