The 12th Bodoland Indigenous Games Festival -2021, organized by Bodoland Indigenous Games Association (BIGA) and BIGA of Udalguri District Committee, got underway from today at Totolapara, Bhergaon.

KOKRAJHAR: The 12th Bodoland Indigenous Games Festival -2021, organized by Bodoland Indigenous Games Association (BIGA) and BIGA of Udalguri District Committee, got underway from today at Totolapara, Bhergaon.

Around 400 participants from four districts of BTC including Sonitpur and Biswanath districts are taking part in the mega traditional sports festival.

As part of the programme, Samal Daimary, ex-general secretary of Udalguri district committee ABSU inaugurated the Khomlainai competition while Lalit Boro, president of Udalguri district ABSU released the souvenir "Hadwm". The main pandel was inaugurated by Bilifang Boro, head master of Pub Baburikhat LP school while the main entrance gate was inaugurated by Santosh Kr. Basumatary, president of Bhergaon primary Bodo Sahitya Sabha.
