Body Building Meet at Roing, Lower Dibang Valley

ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Body Building Association (ABBA) is all set to organize the 7th State Level Body Building Championship with theme “Fitness Expo” at Roing, Lower Dibang Valley on December 20-21.
President, ABBA, Nabam Tuna said that this year the championship to follow the Indian Government motto “Hum Fit Toh India Fit” is not only to promote the players but also to spread awareness about the anti-drugs among youths. The organizing team is expecting 150 participants from different districts of the State to fill in 13 available categories.
All interested players should register their name through a particular gym on or before December 5 and forms will be issued from November 1.
All gym owners should register their gym and all District Unit of ABBA should update their affiliation on or before 10th November’2019 at ABBA Office, Nirjuli. And all players of every district should be recommended and come through District Unit of ABBA, he added.
Vice President, ABBA, Eho Linggi informed that this year the organizing committee will provide all the accommodation necessities of the players except for the paper work fee. Also, this year’s championship will be in an open venue to showcase fitness expo.
ABBA appeals to State Government and local Entrepreneurs for establishing of gym in every district with the theme “No Alcohol, No Drugs, No Tabacco”
