Bud Cricket Club beat Santipur AC to lift the title

GUWAHATI: Bud Cricket Club lifted the Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship title (Guwahati leg) defeating Santipur Athletic Club by 80 runs in the final held at the Judges Field here today. Elected to bat Bud scored 205-7 in their 50 overs. Later the side bowled out Santipur for 125.

Venue: Guwahati-Bud Cricket club 205/7 (40 overs), SarupamPurakayastha 49, AmitBoro 3-40. Santipur AC 125 All (33.2 overs), BiplabSaikia 45, Abu Nechim Ahmed 2-20 Result: Bud Cricket Club won by 80 runs.

Awards: Man of the Match - Sarupam Purakayastha. Man of the Tournament - Sarupam Purakayastha, Best Bowler – Abir Chakrabarty (Santipur AC), and Best Batsman-Sanjay Singh (Bud Cricket Club).

Venue: Lakhimpur-Nowboicha CC 93 (30.2 overs), Ripon Baruah 27, Anand Sarma 3-10. Nakari Club 98/0 (6.3 overs), Neeraj Sharma 50. Result: Nakari Club won by 10 wickets.

Venue: Hailakandi-Royal Association 218/9 ( 35 overs), MuhammedMasum 35, SaytamDutta 5-26, Star B 60 (16.5 overs), Abu Sufian 4-25. Result: Royal Association won by 158 runs.

Venue: Tinsukia- Tinsukia Town Club 304/5 (40 overs), Danish Ahmed 144, Doomdooma Cricket Club 25 (11.1 overs), Samir Sharma 6-4.

Result: Tinsukia Town Club won by 279 runs.

Venue: Dibrugarh-Cricket Club Of Dibrugarh 204/4 (35 overs), Manabjyoti Barman 73, Samidhi Club, Moran 51 (20.5 overs), Tarun Barman 3-6. Result-Cricket Club OfDibrugarh won by 153 runs.
