Budlapara Tea Garden Clinch Title in Adivasi Abba Justin Lakra Memorial Football Tournament

TANGLA: Budlapara Tea Garden clinched the 1st Adivasi Abba Justin Lakra Memorial Football Tournament title by defeating Mazbat Massal Club 4-2 in the final here at Hatigarh Tea Garden playground in Udalguri today.

The event organized by Udalguri district committee of All Adivasi Students Association of Assam (AASAA). State Cabinet Minister Rihon Daimari attended as chief guest. Speaking on occasion Daimari reiterated the supreme sacrifice of Justin Lakra for the welfare of the Adivasi community.

He exhorted the young generation to hone their skills and outshine in sports activities. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Santiuse Kujur, BTC Speaker Tridip Daimary, Dy. Speaker Nerswn Boro.
