Captain Jintu Gogoi Memorial Football Tournament From Dec 16

Dibrugarh: The 15th Captain Jintu Gogoi, Vir Chakra, Memorial Football Tournament will kick off on December 16. Organised by 9 Rajputana Rifles of the Indian Army, the popular tournament will be held at Victory Polo Ground, situated here at Paltan Bazar. The tournament, which witnesses the participation of some good competitive soccer teams, has naturally piqued the interest of the football lovers here. The tournament is an annual event, held in commemoration of Late Captain Jintu Gogoi, a Kargil war martyr.
