CB Trophy: Assam 56/1 on Day 2

GUWAHATI: Assam made good start in their run chase against Saurashtra in the CB Trophy tie at Rajkot today. In reply to Saurashtra’s first innings total 298, Assam scored 56 for 1 in their first innings at stumps on day II. Nibir Deka and Amman Chhetry remained not out on 15 and 18 runs respectively. Saurashtra were bowled out 298 runs. Hira Chhetry and Amlanjyoti Das bagged three wickets each. H Kotak (71), Rishi Patel (58) scored half centuries in the first innings.
