Charaideo school win Dewkon U-17 Inter District School Football title

GUWAHATI: Bampather Bengnabari HS School, Charaideo lifted the Dewkon U-17 Inter District School Football title defeating Kamrup Metropolitan Senior Secondary School, Sonapur 6-4 via tie break at the APRO Training School Ground, Jalukbari here today. The scheduled time of the game ended 2-2 draw. While Jitul Taye and Rahul Hazowary scored for Charaideo, Kiron Hazowary and SC Nongohlang were the scorers for Kamrup (M) School in the scheduled time of the game.

Veteran sports journalist Pabitra Gogoi was the Chief Guest in the closing function. The other present on this occasion were Member Secretary of SLAC Githartha Goswami, SP, APRO Simanta Talukdar, DSP, APRO Sanjoy Changkakati, EM, BKWC Binod Basumatary and Antara Gogoi, Joint Director, Sports and Youth Welfare.
