City Cricket Club lift Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship title

GUWAHATI: City Cricket Club lifted Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship title (Guwahati leg) defeating Bud Cricket Club by four wickets in the final held at IIT ground here today. Invited to bat first, Bud were bowled out 105 in 30.2 overs. Rishav Das (22) was the top scorer while Rajesh Sahani (4-11) and Chinmoy Sarma (3-27) shared seven wickets between them. In reply, Rahul Hazarika led City Cricket Club to victory with a good knock of 40 runs. City reached the target in 30.5 overs losing 6 wickets. Rajesh later adjudged as the man of the final while Manoj Das of Bud Cricket Club collected the player of the tournament award.
