Shillong: Meghalaya were 27/2 at stumps on day one of the U-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy plate group match against Uttarakhand in reply to the hosts’ 220 all out in Dehradun today.
Meghalaya won the toss and opted to field and were able to keep Uttarakhand to a relatively low total, with Arbin Singh (3/59) claiming the best figures for the visitors. Kartik Pawar (2/26), captain Akash Kumar (2/27), Lokesh Turaha (2/55) and Md Nafees (1/43) were the other wicket-takers for Meghalaya.
