CM Sarbananda Sonowal felicitates Runjun Pegu

JORHAT: Assam Chief Minister Sarbanada Sonowal felicitated Runjun Pegu with gift citation and a cheque of Rs 1, 25,000 who won gold in recently concluded National Athletic Meet held at Lucknow. She hails from Jengraimukh, Majuli.

Sonowal said that his government is giving more thrust in the field of sports and his government is emphasizing to make Guwahati as the Sports Capital of India as the state and the region has a vast sports talent which could be given extra thrust for its upliftment.
