Dibrugarh to host SGM, final of premier cricket today

GUWAHATI: The next Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Assam Cricket Association will be held at player's guest house in Dibrugarh tomorrow. All the top office bearers of the association are expected to participate in the meeting where different subjects, including a few key issues, would be placed for discussion.

Meanwhile Bud Cricket club will take on Club Triranga of Barpeta in the final of the Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship in Dibrugarh tomorrow. Jalan Stadium would be the venue of the title clash. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will attend the closing function as the Chief Guest and will also distribute the awards.

Bud entered into the final defeating Saptarshi Club of Tinsukia by 15 runs while Barpeta's Club Triranga won the other semi finals against Cricket Club of Dibrugarh by 29 runs.
