Double crown for Antariksh in the JTC-AITA Championship Series

GUWAHATI: Antariksh Tamuly from Assam clinched double crown by winning both the Boys U-18 Singles and Doubles titles in the JTC-AITA Championship Series U-18 tennis tournament which concluded at Jorhat Tennis Club today.

In the singles, Antariksh defeated Shahir Farhaz, also from Assam, 6-7, 7-5,7-5. In the doubles final he, paired with Shahir Farhaz, beat Bhasata Palash Bora and Jishnu Pratim Das 3-6, 7-5, 10-3.

Other results: Girls U-18 year Singles Final: Diva Bhatia (UP) bt. Namrata Das 6-3, 6-2. Girls U-18 Doubles Final: Namrata Das and Nayanika Deka bt. Diva Bhatia (UP) & Adrika Rajkumari 6-3,6-3.
