DPS Dhaligaon shine in National Champions Trophy

BONGAIGAON: Delhi Public School Dhaligaon records yet another glorious victory winning the Overall National Champions Trophy in the DPS National Athletic Meet-Boys(U-14)-2018 organised by DPS Ranipur at Hardwar recently.

A team of six students, Antariksh Saikia(IX), Amandeep Chaudhury(VIII), Dhiman Jyoti Kalita(IX), Mausam Dihingia(IX), Arunabh Roy(IX) and Ujjain Aditya Pathak(VIII) participated in the event. Altogether 51 Delhi Public Schools from across the country with more than 350 athletes participated in the Championship.

Antariksh Saikia secured Gold Medal in Shot-put Throw and Silver in Long Jump, Aman Chaudhry secured Gold in 200 m race and Bronze in 100m.race. Antariksh, Aman, Dhiman Jyoti and Mousam secured the Gold Medal in 4x100m Relay Race. Principal A.K.Mishra shares his immense joy and pride in this overwhelming achievement and encourages the team to bring many more laurels to school in the days to come.
