Footballer Simanta Das receives financial support from Assam BJP

GUWAHATI, July 23: BJP, Assam Pradesh today provided financial help to promising footballer Simanta Baishya who was selected in the DSK Shivajians International Football Academy. The president of BJP, Assam Pradesh Ranjit Kumar Dass today handed over Rs one lakh from the party fund to the promising footballer and another Rs 40000 from his own pocket. Simanta, who is from an economically weaker section, urgently needed funds to join the academy and the news was recently published in a section of newspaper and channel.
