Former stars to attend centenary celebration of Sports Journalism function today

GUWAHATI: The Assam Sports Journalists Association (ASJA) is organizing a mega felicitation programme on Saturday to mark the occasion of the Centenary Year celebration of Sports Journalism in Assam.

The programme will be held at the DTRP Indoor Stadium and will be attended by Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly Biswajit Daimary along with former Olympian Anuradha Biswal, former champion table tennis players Monalisa Barua Mehta and Kamalesh Mehta. On the occasion, the journalists who have contributed to sports in the last 10 decades will be felicitated.
