Gauhati Town Club get 2 Star Ratings from All India Football Federation

GUWAHATI: Gauhati Town Club (GTC), one of the oldest club of the region, has been successful to acquire 2-star rating Accreditation from the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for their soccer academy.

The secretary of the Gauhati Town Club Devojit Saikia informed the media that GTC Football academy became the lone academy from Assam which received 2 stars ratings. “Two stars Football Academy gets the chance to play in 3- an age group I League tournament which are U-13, U-16 and U-18,” added Saikia.

It may be mentioned here that GTC Football Academy was established in 2010 and it already produced several footballers who are now playing in top clubs of the country.
